SF Permission Matrix is a Chrome extension that helps Salesforce admins and developers view field-level security and object-level permissions across Profiles and Permission Sets. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles data.
Data Collection
SF Permission Matrix does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
What the Extension Accesses
- Salesforce session: The extension reads your active Salesforce session cookies solely to make API calls to your own Salesforce org. No credentials are stored.
- Browser local storage: Used only to remember your selected object and UI preferences locally on your device.
What We Never Do
- No user data is sent to any third-party server
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No login credentials are stored or transmitted
- No personal information is collected
Permissions Used
- storage: Saves your preferences locally in the browser
- cookies: Reads your active Salesforce session to authenticate API requests to your org
- tabs: Detects when you are on a Salesforce page to activate the extension
- host_permissions (salesforce.com): Required to communicate with your Salesforce org's REST API
